Here are some upcoming events you may be interested in

Before we start this list, a big thanks to Carol for organising the fantastic Fracking Freakout gig on Sunday. And big thanks to musicians, Antonia compere, and for everyone who came along. We raised £125.
Also an amazing turnout at the People’s Climate March on Sunday where we got an amazing number of people signing up to object to the planning application. Photos on our Facebook page.

  • Saturday 27th September, 10am-3pm, Peace Fair, Sneinton Market, Nottingham – stalls with others such as Greenpeace, Amnesty, CND – we will be there with petitions and sign up to object sheets – People welcome to help out on the stall
  • Saturday 27th September, 7pm, People’s Kitchen meal, Sumac Centre, Gladstone St, Nottingham – come and enjoy a delicious vegan meal made by Frack Free Notts Fractivists. We’ll have display boards there and petitions.
  • Saturday 4th October, 12pm-5pm, Old Market Sq, Nottingham – HUGE vegan curry being cooked for 5000 people and we will share a stall with Friends of the Earth
  • Sunday 5th October, 1pm, Meet at Fade Cafe, Mansfield Rd, Nottingham – We are going to N.E. Bassetlaw to finish the street survey. All welcome to join us. Meet at 2.15pm in Mattersey.
  • Saturday 11th October, 8.15am, Meet at Fade Cafe, Mansfield Rd, Nottingham – It’s the annual Global Frackdown event where we stand in solidarity with those across the world and say no to fracking. We will be at Retford Market with our sign up to object sheets, boards, and petitions. Come along and join us!
  • Saturday 18th October, time TBA, Old Market Sq, Nottingham – This will be our incredible Frackmob (Flashmob). It won’t last long, but we hope it will draw many heads. It’s been carefully planned out and will look fantastic! People needed to help on the day.
